The HI Banff Alpine Centre is situated 3 km from downtown Banff and offers four bed dormitory style accommodation with shared bathroom (same gender). There is a bus service from the hostel to the centre of Banff and if you wanted to walk to/from downtown, it is easily accesible by foot taking approximately 20 minutes. Transportation services to and from the ski areas also operate within close proximity of the hostel. The hostel amenities include large common lounges with fireplaces and loft areas, two fully equipped self catering kitchens, internet access, cable televison and a coin operated laundry.  There is a pub and licensed restaurant situated next door.
