st paul's bay resort guide
A very convenient and exciting dive destination, Malta offers some unique dive sites and wrecks to explore.
Resort Information
Malta and the smaller islands of Gozo and Comino in the Mediterranean Sea are recognised as outstanding dive destinations. Due to the nature of the island and the fact that the shore shelves away quite rapidly, you can enjoy some rocky reef dives along with some absorbing wreck diving and cave diving. The Maltese reefs comprise of seagrass beds, an abundance of soft coral, and you may also encounter a variety of marine life including tuna, jacks, barracuda, octopus, moray eels and seahorses.
the dive center
Maltaqua Ltd Our instructor training courses are co-ordinated by Maltaqua, a PADI 5* Career Development Centre (CDC) and International Diver College (based 100 metres apart). The centre was founded in 1970 and awarded BSAC School of Excellence status in 2006, one of only four schools outside the UK to be presented with this accolade. The International Diver College has been specifically developed to train people on professional diver instructor programmes, and therefore provides you with the optimum learning environment to study and progress through the PADI system.
