Our range of courses in Egypt, Cyprus and Malta can take you through the PADI System from Open Water Diver through to PADI Instructor Level.
PADI Open Water course
Learn the fundamentals of scuba diving, developing your knowledge and skills of diving equipment, techniques and diving with a buddy. Includes confined water dives under the supervision of a PADI instructor and four Open Water Dives with a PADI instructor in a typical dive environment.

Advanced Open Water / Adventures in Diving Programme
A performance based programme to develop or fine tune your dive skills, while providing the opportunity to explore specialised diving interests and gain rewarding diving experiences (including night diving). The course includes five dives (one deep dive, one navigation dive, and three other dives from the special activities available).
PADI Emergency First Response Programme
This is a fundamental training course (8 hours) covering cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and emergency care. In addition, it’s a medically based program covering primary care, secondary care and treatments, using a common approach to handle medical emergencies.
Primary Care Course Content:
Emergency First Response Primary Care (CPR) teaches participants how to respond to life-threatening emergencies. The course focuses on primary care through a combination of knowledge development, skill development and realistic scenario practice to make sure participants have the confidence and control to provide care if an emergency situation arose. Skills taught include:

Universal precautions – communicable disease protection, including barrier use

Conscious and unconscious obstructed airway management

Secondary Care Course Content:
Emergency First Response Secondary Care (first aid) covers injuries or illnesses that are not immediately life threatening. Participants focus on secondary assessment through first aid knowledge development, skill development and scenario practice. Skills taught include:
The program is designed for divers and nondivers, and meets the CPR and first aid perquisite for earning the PADI Rescue Diver rating. Divemaster and Instructor candidates must show proof of certification within 24 months, EFR is highly recommended.
PADI Rescue Diver Course
The course focuses on the skills and knowledge required to perform diver assists and rescues, manage dive accident situations and render first aid. It is an important step in the diver’s development to consider the safety and well being of fellow divers. The course involves open water training to master exercises and rescue scenarios, and may include confined water dives before heading to open water.

PADI Divemaster Course
Prerequisites:
PADI Advanced Open Water Diver or equivalent
PADI Rescue Diver or equivalent
20 logged dives
Current First Aid / CPR within the last 2 years
18 years minimum age
Medical approval to dive from a physician within the last 12 months
Course duration: 50 recommended hours – recommended up to three weeks
Certification requirement: 60 logged dives
The PADI Divemaster course teaches you to supervise dive activities and assist instructors with student divers. It is the entry point to professional levels in diver training. The course involves; classroom sessions to develop your dive leadership skills, a series of water skills and stamina exercises in confined and open water environments, and three required training exercises that test organisational and problem solving abilities:

Mapping a dive site, including underwater and surface temperatures

Equipment exchange: demonstrate the ability to solve unanticipated problems underwater

Conduct a simulated or actual class, under the supervision of a PADI Instructor
The course also involves an Internship OR Practical Training Exercises (choose one):

Internship: Hands on experience supervising and assisting divers in actual PADI programs, under the guidance of a PADI Instructor, OR:

PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC)
The PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC) is split into 2 sections:

PADI Assistant Instructor Course
Prerequisites:
PADI Divemaster or qualifying certification from another organisation
60 logged dives (with experience in night, deep and navigation – covered on earlier courses)
18 years minimum age
Certified as diver for at least 6 months
Proof of CPR and first aid training within the last 24 months (covered on earlier course)
Medical approval to dive from a physician within the last 12 months
The PADI Assistant Instructor Course provides PADI Divemasters with additional training and further development as a PADI professional, with an emphasis on the PADI system of dive education.
The course will involve:

Self study – knowledge reviews, quizzes, lectures and presentations

Confined Water – skills review and assessment, workshops and presentations

Open Water – workshops, rescue assessment and candidate presentations

PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI) Programme
The PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor programme further hones your leadership and teaching skills to prepare you for life as a PADI Instructor.
Prerequisites:
PADI Assistant Instructor certification or book a complete IDC
Certified diver for at least 6 months
60 logged dives (with experience in night, deep and navigation – covered on earlier courses)
Proof of CPR and first aid training within the last 24 months (covered on earlier course)
Medical approval to dive from a physician within the last 12 months
The course will involve:

Self study – knowledge reviews, quizzes, lectures and presentations

Confined Water – skills review and assessment, workshops and presentations

Open Water – workshops, rescue assessment and presentations
You must have a minimum of 100 logged dives to become a PADI Instructor and gain the certification - though you can begin the training with 60 logged dives.
Instructor Examination (IE)
Prerequisites:
Successful completion of PADI IDC
Course duration: 7 days (IDC) and 2 days (IE)
After completing the PADI IDC, you need to demonstrate what you’ve learned in the Instructor Examination. A PADI Instructor Examiner independently and objectively assesses your knowledge and skills, testing everything from dive theory to PADI training standards. PADI is the only certification organisation that requires an objective, independent examination to qualify as a professional instructor. It is a balanced and consistent evaluation process.
The IE involves:
